One Of My IJS Moments....Soul Food

From earliest Egyptian sources, officially dated at circa 2500 BC, Kh-afre, fourth king of the 4th dynasty reveals that an early Egyptian king had the name "Africa". That is because modern Egyptologists and others often mix the order of the hieroglyphs that the ancients wrote. Thus Kh-Afre is Afre-Kh or Africa.

The ancient Jewish records are supposedly silent on "Africa" but that is because the Hebrew name for the continent, "Auphirah" is usually written "Ophir". In I Kings 9:28, we read that the sailors of Solomon of Israel and Hiram of Tyre went to "Ophir-Auphirah". Then in the next verse, I Kings 10:1, we read that the Queen who "ruled" or "administered" [Hebrew sheb (Shin, Beit, Aleph)] Ophirah-Africa, came to visit Solomon and probably put in a courtesy call to Hiram of Tyre as well (circa 950 BC). Only one queen ruled Egypt, Nubia, Sudan and Ethiopia of those days and her name is Hat-Sheba-Sut or Hatshepsut. Her temple at Deir el-Bahari evokes the words of Song of Solomon "Oh my dove, you are in the clefts of the rock in the secret places of the stairs". She was the great African Queen after whom even river boats and Hollywood films are named.

However, this analysis depends on accepting that Egyptian chronology is wrong by 600 years and that all the dynasties of ancient Egypt are misaligned with other countries' histories by error factors of 600 years on average. That's why there are so many mysteries over what really is quite a simple answer. To see how complex answers otherwise become, read those below. The complexity in what surely should be a simple question-answer is revealed by the excellent research shown below. But the real situation - assuming the chronological problems/solutions noted above are in fact so - is surely much simpler and more obvious.

Also, the name Afre-Kh or Kh-Afre, noted above, probably simply means the "Kh of Ophir" or perhaps "Spirit of Africa".

One of the answers below explains that "Punt" is East Africa. Today, the British supported government of North Somalia is named "Puntland" on some maps. However, Amenhotep III said "When I look to the sunrise, I come to the countries of Punt". One Egyptian poet likened holding a girl in one's arms to be in "Punt". Somalia and East Africa were never such wonderful places. But Israel in the Days of Solomon was. Thus Hatshepsut's extensive report of her journey to "Punt" obviously refers to Sheba's visit to Jerusalem in 950 BC. However, Jerusalem in the soon to come Messianic Kingdom which many Sudanese already believe exists in modern Israel will make Solomon's Jerusalem pale in comparison. Jesus said "Hatshepsut-Queen of the South" would rise up at the resurrection and judge the leaders of Israel who rejected Jesus of Nazareth. This little aside shows that distorted history has been used to prevent people knowing what's in store for them if they believe and worship the true God (and what's in store for them if they do not). There is a good reason why the authorities do not want people to know the origin of the word (name) "Africa" because its great queen (Hatshepsut-Sheba) rejected her pagan gods and turned (repented) to the God of Solomon and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob of Israel.

In summary, the oldest sources for the name "Africa" come from the Bible (Ophir) and Egyptian records (Kh-Afre or Afre-Kh). Attempts below by the linguistic community to derive the origins of the name "Africa" get swamped by borrowed traditions from the Biblical source and by loan-words that migrated through various languages after the Tower of Babel (circa 2200 BC).
It is now virtually impossible to tell which language borrowed from another or which language 'lent' a word to another via trade, assimilation, culture-swapping etc. However, certain things dominate no matter what. The ancient Egyptians had difficulty distinguishing between 'b' and 'p' in speech. Today, an Egyptian still says "Egypt is very boor". Generation after generation of invaders, while they may have changed much of the face of Egypt they could not prevent their children imitating the speech of the indigenous culture.

Africanus. The name signifies that the person named himself after Africa. One thing is certain, Greek and Latin have Egyptian linguistic influences although both are Indo-European languages. The term "Indo" comes from "India," the word "India" came from the Arabs, who pointed out that Kush, a son of Ham had two sons, "Hind," and "Sind." Hind of Kush established a culture in India, Sind of Kush established a culture in the Arabian region. Nimrod established in parts of Mesopotamia.

Wandering barbarians from north-Central Russia began to invade what was a Black Kuchitic India about 1700 B.C. (see Sudrology, http://dalitstan.org the Hindu Kush Mountains is not named so by mistake). These barbarians were Caucasoids however there were other elements in them as well. The movie, "Conan the Barbarian," gives a hint to the type of people who were included in the wandering nomads called the "Aryans."

THE ORIGINS OF THE INDO-EUROPEAN LANGUAGES

These Aryans spoke a northern European language that in its pure form would resemble Finnish, Islandic or those not influenced by Greek or Latin. After hundreds of years of trying to invade and conquer Black India, they were able to use the destruction of the dams to flood the region. After that happened, they began to infiltrate into the land using war and extermination to conquer much of the northern part of India, where they used the sacred scriptures to establish a caste system.

While the Aryans were in India, they became absorbed into the Black population of Dravidians and Negritoes. Anyone who looks at the population of Northern India today will see a Persian/Mediterranean appearance among the people there, and a more Negroid African appearance among the people in the Southern parts, especially the South-East of India. In fact, scientists from India have already established that in every genetic aspect these Indians are identical to Blacks in Africa. These Africoids are among those responsible for the creation of India's Indus Valley Civilization. The Aryans who were not literate people learned from the Blacks of India. The Aryans leaned the Black Kushitic languages, the customs, (they established the taboo against eating beef to weaken the Black population, according to some present-day Black Untouchable writers). They learned the various arts and crafts from the aboriginal Blacks of India according to Drusilla Dunjee Houston (see "Harappa and Mohenjo-daro: The Black Civilizations of Ancient India," Susu Economics: A History of Pan-African Trade, Commerce, Money and Wealth, published by 1stbooks Library, Bloomington, Indiana U.S.A www.1stbooks.com ).

So, the languages of the Greeks, Latins, Germans and even English comes from the Indo-European language family. That language family has Black Kushitic African roots as well as a north-central European base. Hence the term "Africanus" is Lanin but the term "Afrikanu- Africanus" "Kepru - Cyprus" "Keftiu - Crete" all are African words and the "u" usually denotes a place name in some African languages. In the Latin, the "us" takes the place of the "u'. That is where the African and Kushitic influence is clear.

Both Keftiu and Kepru are ancient Egyptian words. The word 'Nagau" is the Egyptian term for East Africa or 'Punt."

"Nomu' is Semite

"Tamahu" is European

Thus "Africanus" is Latin, but 'Afru-ika" is Egyptian and the name "Afru-ika" was in existence long before the name "Africanus," which probably means "from Africa," or "of Africa." During the 400's B.C. to 400's A.D., the Romans were in northern Africa and the Greeks were in Egypt from about 300's B.C. to about 200 a.d.

So, the Indo-European languages have African Kushitic roots as well. The term 'Afru-ika" means "Motherland," according to one of Ivan Van Sertima's books. Afru-ika means "motherland" in the ancient Egyptian language which was part of the "Afro-Asiatic" language family. Hebrew, Arabic, Geez (the litergical language of the Ethiopian Coptic Church), Aramaic are all Afro-Asiatic languages. The oldest and the mother of these languages still survives today in East Africa, it is called "Iraqwu" and is a Black African language. Some linguists point out that both Hebrew and Arabic are dialects of Ancient Egyptian. According to some Africans of the Galla People of Ethiopia, "Apraka" means "sunny," hence the term "Africa," may in fact have African roots.

Now, as far as the Roman is concerned, his name "Africanus" or a name such as "Scicipio Africanus," probably means "Sicipio of Africa." That would mean the general was named for being from Africa.

I would go with Dr. Van Sertima. The name Africa came from 'Afri-uka" which means "Motherland," in the ancient Egyptian language and that term "Motherland" is one still used in reference to Africa even today.

The name "Africa" came from the Latin and Greek words meaning "sunny" and "without cold".

Greeks called the land "Libya" and it came to be known as Africa after Roman times. Romans referred to a specific province as "Africa" and its application became more generalized over time.

Is He Really Bout That Lyfe?

  • Every rapper on here represent the street life but my questiion is who is real and who just makes real good music? Alot of people get caught up in the music and go do the things that most rappers talk about but some of the rappers who talk about that life have never lived it. Some of these rappers are real life goons that made it out the hood. Im not here to try to judge anyone's past but I will give you a few things to think about. First of all real street nigga dont have to have body gaurds when they go back to thier old hood. Ofcourse you always gonna have haters but most niggaz are going to be with you because you reppin them. Haters dont change so if you have dealt with them all your life you know how to deal with them when you are famous. Real street niggas also know that even though they have made it rapping there is still a g-code in effect. There are some things that you cant talk about because while you are rappin there are still niggaz out there taking them same route and doing the same thing in the streets. It doesnt matter how much money you making no dope boy who might be being watched by the FEDs want you on a song talking about how you got a brick or better from him, and where he had it at, how he hide it etc.  Another thing, a real nigga dont have to worry about the media until they get into trouble. Trust me they not coming in the hood until they got police protection. When you got the media chasing niggaz every move what hood you know have mercy on the media? Where im from rock heads will have them cameras on the market, real talk. I know they would love to strip one of them hi tec vans or cars down and leave it on fire. So unless these niggaz moved out the hood which im sure most of them have they dont have that problem.
  •

Plus you can tell real niggaz by how they handle certain situations you feel me. A studio gangster will get into little beefs and trouble just to have something to talk about. Whats a few mins in jail if its gonna make you millions? Every magizine want to interveiw them about it every rapper wants to do a song with them and all of a sudden they transform into a super goon. i dont knock no nigga gettin bread, Im all for that but keep it 1000 because you might just make niggaz eager to see if you really bout that life you feel me. Are you really gonna squeeze your chopper or are you gonna be in the bathroom hiding? Are you gonna take a imaginary swing at somebody after you two have words and then go get on every radio/tv station and talk about it? Or are you gonna be sitting in prison/the county jail with murder charges?

This street life for the ones who have lived it is real and cold. The reality is most rappers are not livin that life and unless they came in the game with  lil age under their belt, they havent had time to do half the things that they are talking about. ad if the talking with to much detail either they dumb or they lieing because the Feds will use them same songs as evidence.

Some of us are out here and we constantly being watched by somebody, either the feds, the state, probation officers, snitches, somebody is already got a birds eye veiw on us. So to all the real niggaz out there in the rap game or still in the streets keep doing you and ball to you fall.

STATE OF FLA. VS. YOUNG BLACK MEN

I have to start by saying God Bless all the kids that have lost their life in the state of Florida. Some to dirty police, some to racist people, some to peers and a lot more to the Florida State Prison system. With the recent death of  Trayvon Martin the eyes of the world is once again on the state of Fla. and the never ending racial tension. With so many questions swirling on why George Zimmerman is still a free man without being formally charged maybe everyone should look at some of the past racially inspired killings involving white men and black kids. Like the case of Martin Anderson a 14 year old black teen from Panama City Fla. in boot camp beat to death by a few white officers and only after a autopsy revealed the true reason of his death did any criminal charges arise. Or what about Nicholas Pesare  of Largo, Fla. his mother called the police for help because of his autism and instead of helping they killed him. I mean he was only 5" 3 and 118 pounds.I mean if you pay attention this happens all the time in Fla. and the reason the police brushed it off was because to them it was just another day, nothing new. I see the celebrities lining up to get recognition for being there and some even hurried  and put out songs about it. But the truth is most of the people out there are there for publicity not for justice. There is a million kids locked up for not being wealthy enough to afford a lawyer right now in Fla. and the public pretenders high five the state attorneys after every trail. You think the Stand Your Ground Law is messed up well take a look at the law against pants sagging. Yes it is inappropriate but who does it target? I will end by saying this before you leave Fla. go to any minority neighborhood and ask them how many kids they know have been beat down by the police, police dogs put on them, or have been tase by the police for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Many are serving time in prison right now for it because to cover themselves the kid is charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and sent away for 10 years or better....
STILL FIGHTING FOR EQUALITY IN FLA. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT:

The Definition of a Kingpin......

http://newsone.com/newsone-original/casey-gane-mccalla/top-10-richest-gangsters-of-all-time/

This Post is to show alot of  these self proclaimed "Bosses"/ "King Pins" what  a real King pin is. Im not talkin bout your average local celebrity movin a few bricks in the hood. You know the ones the Feds rundown on as soon as they make a couple of million you feel me. The status of the men on this list can only be reached by strong familys where there is no penetration by outsiders and snitches get found in ditches literally. As you can see there is only one black on this list and even his status is questionable, because the American Government will never let that happen and if one slipped threw in there eyes that will never happen again. Its crazy that none of the men on this list were caught movin drugs until later on in life and some were never caught but the poor niggaz in the hood who think they are King Pins get life everyday. Im not knocking no nigga hustle but just trying to open eyes, we really dieing for crumbs out here and the ones who really getting money the goverment is paid not to touch em, or they team is that strong that the goverment cant touch them. Atleast not until they to old to run or care one way or another. One of these dudes had enough money to bail his country out of debt, thats a King Pin... but on the flipside of things we dont have the boats the planes security clearance and so on to really bring that kind of weight in and if you do better stay under the radar because them boyz keep a nigga under survelliance you feel me. If you not a real king pin theres nothing wrong with dreaming and if thats the life you choose all I can say is go at it with every thing you got because we all know how it ends. In other words ball to you fall homie and do it big. There isnt many but If you get the money and the power you know the rest then comes respect, and you you can bet even the Feds repect that much power......King Prince Bihhhhhh

Real Or Fake?

Okay I have to put these industry scams on blast right. First of all, if I enter my song into a mixtape contest free of charge and win how in the f**k I gotta pay you niggaz to perform. The whole reason for entering the contest was to perform, thats false advertisement, slick a**  ni**az. I got my own Djs to host my music I dont need you lame a** ni**az screaming all over my music messing it up. I bet you got alot of lames with  that but Im from the streets homie. For the djs who be straight up and lay their prices on the table from the beginning this is not for you, because I understand buisness, and money has never been a issue if I feel its a good move for my music career. So for all the new rappers getting in this game working on a budget its still a dog eat dog world homie, where everybody tryna come up even the ni**az who you think already up. And for you slick djs that like to scheme on a ni**a remember everybody in the game didnt just get off the porch some of us live the life that we talk about and real ni**az do real thingz...Enuff said.
